Longboat Key Roofing is the roofer to count on to do your roof. Friendly people quality work. Great cleanup afterwards. Grout matches the tile and the quality is great. Valleys are cut straight, Gutters are re-attached correctly and great paint matching where the flashing was repaired and re-stuccoed. Great prices and long warranty.

Without question, James Peel's Longboat Key Roofing was heads & shoulders above every other roofing contractor who gave us a quote. First, he was thorough & professional. James came with a folder containing our plot info and square footage of our roofs from the county, so he could give an accurate quote for each owner in our 4-unit villa. His quote was not only fair, but less than other contractors who only showed up with only a biz card. Everything he promised us, he delivered on. Longboat Key's warranty is longer than other company's and it's transferable to the next owner - a key feature if you're selling your house down the road. The number of pieces of plywood was more generous than other companies. And, his quote included no additional charge for skylights which other companies did not match. There was a supervisor on duty throughout the removal of old roof all the way to installation of the new one. His crew is on his payroll, not pick-up hires along the way. He and Laura, his office staff, kept in touch with all 4 owners throughout the process via timely emails. He scheduled work around the summer rains so we would be set up for hurricane season. The quality of his work showed in how the crew cleaned up every bit of debris daily, leaving the job site pristine. He, his supervisors, or Laura were available and able to handle all our questions. This is a feat more difficult when you're dealing with 4 owners instead of just one. But Longboat Key made the entire process, from contract signing to completed job, effortless.
